NEW YOUTUBE VIDEO Part 1 of tying the Paracordist's Quick Release Keychain Bola
Just a quick email blast to call your attention to my lastest YouTube how to video - Part 1 of tying the Paracordist's Quick Release Keychain Bola . This item is made from a continuous piece of 550 paracord approximately 15' long. Perfect for the bushcraft gear, or a trip to the mall!
The process requires the tying of a 3/4" steel ball bearing monkeys fist knots into each end of the cord, leaving a single strand of 550 cord between. The item is finished with the slack being taken up in my quick deploy S.K.R.U.W knot (Secure Kwick-React Unraveling Wrap). The finished item can be attached to a keychain carabiner for quick deployment if desired; with the S.K.R.U.W. functioning as a handle for self defense use. I've got a video already showing how to quickly re-tie the S.K.R.U.W. (click to watch)

Soon I'll be expanding my offerings in the paracord fid (lacing needle) area. You are likely familiar with the flat head brass fids, and my 4mm x 4" long steel fids. For those of you with big hands that find the current small diameter fids hard to use - we'll have 5mm diameter x 4" long stainless steel fids for sale on a limited trial basis within a few weeks! Also, for those times when you need some length for long tucks or to get more leverage on a "pry", we will be offering 6" long fids in BOTH 4mm AND 5mm diameters.
