Paracordist How To Tie the Multi Strand Diamond Knot w/ Paracord (Pt. 2 ...

This is Part II of the A.L.I.C.E. Pack Handle how to video. This installment shows two three strand braids turned into a loop for attachment of the handle to the pack frame. The braids are created by separating the six strands coming out of the Double Matthew Walker Knot (Part I - the Double Matthew Walker Knothttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqTmAB...) into two sets of three and braiding each approximately 1.5" long. The braids are then brought back together in a 6 strand diamond knot. The video shows how to secure the strands with electrical tape (my preference) to facilitate the diamond knot. The diamond knot technique that I demonstrate was learned from J.D. Lenzen's Fusion Ties Volume II (http://www.amazon.com/Paracord-Fusion...) starting with a crown knot which in turn is raised into the diamond knot. The crown knot learned here will also be utilized in series, forming the "round crown sinnet" for the main body of the paracord handle. This will be shown in the next video of the series.
